Dr. John A. Buza III is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon and Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He specializes in the treatment of cervical and lumbar spine conditions including disc herniation, spinal stenosis, nerve compression, and spinal deformity.

Dr. Buza completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (Hospital for Joint Diseases), one of the nation’s premier orthopedic training programs. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgery fellowship at the renowned Norton Leatherman Spine Center.

Today, Dr. Buza provides personalized, evidence-based spine care with the goal of helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and return to healthy, active lives.
